Following the most recent change I made to my diet - cutting back on food cooked at high-temperature - I lost 2 inches off my waist.
This was not intentional and I don’t know why this effect would occur: but it was the only thing that I changed.
The reason I cut down on "high temperature food" was to reduce glycation.
Suit Too Big
How did I know I lost weight? I bought a suit 3 months before that fitted perfectly.
I wear a suit rarely - about 10 times a year. This time when I put it on you could have knocked me over with a feather; it was like a clown suit, there was so much room in the trousers. (Damn.)
It’s not as if my weight fluctuates. It took about 15 years - from age 40 to age 55 - for my waist to go from 32" to 34". Now, it has returned to 32" in two months.
Good - But Why?
A step in the right direction, I’d say. But, that reducing food cooked at high temperature would cause that "waist loss" is interesting.
