<p>The difference was judged by how much the women agreed with statements such as: &#8220;If something can go wrong for me, it will&#8221;, as opposed to: &#8220;In unclear times I usually expect the best.&#8221;</p>
<p>The lead researcher said: &#8220;The evidence suggests that sustained, high degrees of negativity are hazardous to health.&#8221;</p>
